Italy Dual Citizenship
 

I need a birth certificate from my grandfather's small village, for the Dual Citizenship process. I cannot speak italian well, but found a website that can get it for me. Its http://www.icdts.com. There are other sites, but very expensive.
What I would like to know is:
Is there an online site which is cheaper?.
I also need advice on my first trip to Italy. Are there cheaper lodgings somewhere not far from Positano and Amalfi, rather than payting high rates at exclusive hotels?

Hi Gabbi. As Steve James pointed out, there are hostels nearby the Positano area, which are much cheaper. I even heard that some convents provide lodgings and a meal. Try Steve's link, to see if it sounds interesting. If you would like something in the mountains, along with horseback riding, I can suggest a place to you in the Cilento National Park.
I looked over that website http://www.icdts.com, and I think you should use them for your citizenship. I used them for a translation and had it back in 2 days!. besides, they are cheaper than the others and do a fantastic job!

Need anything else, it seems there are enough people to help here!.

Wow!, I didn't expect so many quick replys. That site suggested by Steve doesn't seem bad, but of course I am still looking for the cheape4st way out. my budget?. Well, I was trying to find something more in the tune of $65, to include meals. I am interested in horseback riding and backpacking and walking along trails, etc.
Thanks for the heads up about that citizenship site. I think I will use them.

Gabbi - I don't think you'll find anywhere on the Amalfi Coast near $65 including meals :(

Your only chance of coming close, I think, is the Brikette (- which includes a small breakfast) - and eating out (- as I do).
