Italy Car Seat Laws?????

anyone know the law regarding children & carseats in Italy. we have a 4.5yr old,45lbs
does she need a car seat?

I actually have my Italian drivers license, so I pulled out my book and this is what it says...

For a child of 20 kilos (which is what yours weighs) a car seat is needed.

I've read here that most car rental companies don't have car seats or they are very old and in bad condition. So

I'd reccommend bringing one from home.
Ciao,
Melissa

Hi Anthony,
I read that a child of 45 kilos or more doesn't need one. That is 99 pounds. Sounds like a lot to me, but I don't make the laws.
If you need more help, I'll be around.
Ciao,
Melissa
