Italy........... best way of travelling from Naples to Paris????????
Hi guys you have helped out b4 so thought id give it another try........
We will be in Naples in Oct and planned to travel to Paris on the 1st Nov........
We thought we had it set and were flying out easyjet....... BUT as this will be towards the end of our 6 week trip i figured the girls would have accumulated extra shoes and clothes and thus our wieght will be more than 20 kgs ea.....
But on checking on the easyjet site i found to my disgust they charge 9 euro per kilo even if booked in advance.....
So for the 10 kgs extra the girls wanted is going to cost us A$120 extra ea !!!!!!!!!!
Which turns a "not to bad" air ticket into a high priced ticket........
Has anyone had the same problem, or know of a better solution to get to Paris....

We flew Naples/Stansted and back with Easyjet just a few weeks ago and, even after doing our annual clothes shopping, chanced to hit 39 kg between the 2 suitcases on the way home.... although they weren't interested in the weight of our cabin bags.
You might just want to fill a case to 30 kg, and see if it's at all realistic for "the girls" to be dragging around. That's quite heavy - although I've seen worse...

If so, the various Naples/Paris options are listed here...

Whilst I've watched people putting on two seaters for the weigh-in, it's hard to do the same with extra pairs of shoes!

You could always take the train

Then again Easyjet have no limit on cabin luggage weight so stick the shoes in the cabin luggage and the ipods / laptops / phones into checked luggage
But how are you going to get home with 30kg of shoes?
Then again why are you assuming that the "girls" will accumulate 30kg of shoes?

I think 20kg is pretty heavy. 30kg is very heavy.
If you are planning to acquire shoes and clothes, do you need to start the trip with the number of shoes and clothes you are currently planning? Often significant volume and weight is consumed by items added "just in case."
