ITALY AMALFI COAST

I am torn about where to stay. We are going to be on the coast for 5 days. We are looking at Sorrento and Praiano. Does anybody have thoughts about Hotel Margharita.
Friends we are travelling with want a pool with our accomodations Any suggestions would be appreciated I have Venice & Florence done byt the Amalfi coast has become an overwhelming task. I have looked at too many places.

Two very different towns. Sorrento is a busy little town with lots of shopping and restaurants. Praiano is quiet and is really mainly residential with a few restaurants.

Lazy of me, I know, but hopefully you'll forgive me if I just "cut and paste" this....

High time it was updated (so do crosscheck the times, prices etc!), but for more about the Sorrento Peninsula and Amalfi Coast, you may like to download the useful 'Travel Directory' from the official tourism website, here...

Good hotels in upper moderate range with pools include:

Many others as well. Does pool need to be large enough to swim? Or just to cool off? Most hotel pools in that area are quite small, with a few exceptions.

How is everyone getting these $60 per night rooms at Delfino? Everytime I look it up on Otel.com, it's $300 per night! :(

I don't get close to $60 either at the Delfino.
