Italy 4 days from Rome to Savelletri

We’ve got 4 nights from landing in Rome till our Villa is available in Savelltri. We’re traveling with 3 year old twins to puglia region for ~ 3 weeks in early august and are debating where to acclimate them to 6hrs of jet lag (behind) and are looking for suggestions that will be fun for the whole family. Beach or Vineyard. We’re open to all suggestions that take us from Rome closer to Puglia and that are less than 4hrs drive. Villas or Hotels would be fine. Thank so much for the guidance.

If you're just landing after a long flight I'd really suggest NOT hopping in a car for a long hot drive in the middle of August. Spend at least the first night in Rome. Adjust. Sleep.
