Thank you for posting this story. I had missed it. One of the (few) regrets I have about a trip to Rome earlier this year was that we didn't make it to the Villa Giulia collection or Tarquinia as I had hoped.

We visited the Etruscan tomb escavation site below Orvieto. We were the only visitors there. One of those places where you can feel the presence of those who have gone before. |
