Do you have the e-mail address of Pantheon Travel? Its URL?

Thanks.

I just spoke to Marco at Pantheon Travel. They're also having problems accessing tickets from the Trenitalia web site in Italy.

I had to call often to get through. He took my CC# over the phone, but has to get the tickets tomorrow because the system is down now.

To call from the U.S. dial 011 39 066785851

Marco wanted to know how I knew to call him so I explained it, and told him more people may be calling.

I could find neither an e-mail address nor a website. I looked on my credit card receipt and also on the actual train tickets.

If I can turn up either I will post again..

Can you not purchase an E ticket through them? That would be the ideal thing if you can.

You can book a ticketless ticket with them. They'll give you the code.

They do have e-mail, Marco gave me his e-mail, but I didn't ask if I could post it, so I won't. Give them a call.

I received our tickets this morning from Marco at Pantheon Travel by e-mail. They were perfect, with the Amica fare. His service fee was just 5€ per booking, so 10€ since I had 2 sets of tickets.

The print out has a bar code which they read on the train when they check your ticket=ticketless tickets.

I was googling around to try to pinpoint some extra contact information for Pantheon Travel in Rome. I came up with the name of Marco Cassani for the agency, whom I guess is the Marco who has been referred to in some posts. Besides the already posted phone number of 06-6785851, I also got a phone number of 06-6794757 and a fax number of 06-6791248. There was no available e-mail address, which would be helpful, if only to save money on the phone bill.

Maybe this wll be useful to someone.

I'm thinking they may be closed on weekends. I tried calling and faxing this morning but there was no answer. You'd think they would leave their fax line open, but maybe things work differently over there. I'll try again Monday.

Hi Linda, several Italian friends of mine in Italy have businesses and they turn their Fax Machines off when their business is closed. So try again Monday.

Sandi, I didn't ask Marco if I can post his e-mail on this site, but if you give me your e-mail, I'll be happy to personally send you his e-mail address. I was very happy with his service.

well...seems to be working now

I feel stupid though...remembered that our local travel agency in Italy (where we have our vacation home) has a website and does issue train tickets...don't know the service charge though becasue I haven't bought from them - if anyone still needs a contact in Italy:

The Staff at the Albergo del Senato sent me to Pantheon Travel to make my train arrangements last summer.

It was our first trip to Rome. I don't know if it was Marco, but the gentleman spoke enough English and made all our arrangements.

Loved it!

Yesterday I emailed the Amex travel office in Venice (located on the Amex website), and they replied today. Told me 1st class tickets from Venice to Florence with Amica fare would be 40 euros each - I've checked the Trenitalia website and they would be 38.80. Seems a 1.20 euro fee is pretty reasonable given all the trouble I'm having with the Trenitalia website.
