Tickets to Venice/Rome
I am going to venice and rome from november 3-15. I am looking to flying out of balt, dc or phili. We are looking at flying into venice and out of rome. I would prefer a nonstop .The cheapest price I have seen in the past 2 months is for nonstop out of phili with Us Airways for $1214 per tix. The price has gone down today to $1080 per tix
This is my first trip too Italy so I have no idea what a good price for a ticket is.
do these prices sound about right for traveling during lower season? I am wondering if I am looking to soon and or should I buy at the lower price. I know there is no crystal ball for these suitations. I am wondering if I should pull the trigger and buy. Any advice?

I have checked kayak, matrix, priceline, orbitz and many more. That was the best price for non stop I could find. We live in Baltimore and there is not any non stop flights from baltimore or DC airports.

I did see there is a non stop from Dulles but they dont have a non stop to Venice from Dulles. I really hate flying and I take meds to do what flying I have to that is why I am really looking to do a non stop flight. Thanks for the suggestion.

I don't mind paying a little extra for a non stop flight. I don't expect a $700 ticket price for non stop. I just don't want to pay more then I need to. Is there a website I can check what the average price for tickets for last nov so I can get a idea.

A suggestion that may save you a bit of money, if you can't find a non-stop flight into Venice. Fly into Rome, and immediately take a train from Rome to Venice. The train takes about four hours, and is very comfortable. You take a train from Rome airport to Rome Centrale, which takes about half an hour, and those trains run every half hour. There are trains from Rome to Venice every hour.

Have you looked at Google/flights? You can view the results as a bar graph (click the icon in the upper right corner) I find it's great for scrolling across dates and seeing if/when they change.
You can't book from there, you have to click a link (to the airline) or call but you will have the info you need.
