Italian Restaurant In PARIS

There is a fabulous ITALIAN restaurant in Paris, France that I visited a year ago. Unfortunately, I never wrote its name in my travel journal and I need help discovering its name. The only thing I can tell you is that the restaurant is decorated with pictures of individuals on VESPAS. It is in a unique shopping area where you can walk in the narrow streets to window shop. I know my description is not the best...Please help! Merci!

I ate at a great Italian restaurant in St Germain. Alot of cute shops and other restaurants around. I don't remember the name of it, but it was cute inside and the food was great. I don't know if this helps at all, but if it is the right district maybe it will help narrow your search. Good Luck!

I've never eaten here but seem to remember reading about Vesuvio being very good, near Blvd. St. Germain.

Hi Andrea,

It's probably a long shot but, do you by any chance remember which arrondisment?

That would be Amici Miei. It has very recently moved, and now is at 44 rue St. Sabin. The photographs are gone, but the food is still very good. All credit to my colleague Bob, whose knowledge of Paris Italian restaurants isencyclopedic.
