Can anyone give me the best website address re: Italian railways.

Alternatively, does anyone know if there's a direct train Rome - Ancona? How long does it take? and if a long journey is there a "sleeper" service.

Thanks,

You can also fly there. I know that Alitalia flies that route. I believe it takes less than about an hour, perhaps less.

You may also use Ryanair (www.ryanair.com) which are selling London-Ancona at £7 + tax ... not bad at all !

Thanks for the info.

Train doesn't seem as complicated as I thought and those Ryanair fares are incredibly cheap. If anyone else is interested in these special air deals, you have to book by midnight tonight (25th).

Thanks again,
