Italian phrase "for a clean table"?

I am trying to remember what the phrase was that was on these little containers on our tables at breakfast in Florence. They said something like "for a clean table" and were meant for tossing paper products like empty butter packets or whatever. Did anyone else see this or know Italian? All I can remember is Tavola. Thank you
(Also, I recommend Hotel Bella Vista in Impruneta where I had a very clean table!)

A hotel in Amsterdam had those containers in the breakfast room.. I don't know what you call them, espec. in Italian..

Well I don't know the phrase you saw, but the Italian word for clean is pulita so maybe something like "per la tavola pulita"?

Something I remember for almost 30 years, was a warning in a Roman bus saying:
- no sputare
- no parlare al guidatore
