Italian hand-made "cotto" bricks
We recently purchased a house and I've been dreaming about ripping up the carpet and laying handmade italian cotto (terracotta) tiles or bricks. I know I can find the tiles made in Mexico (saltillo) but do you know of a good resource to purchase good italian tiles? I live in Dallas but would be willing to purchase from any place.

This Web site lists hundreds of brands, including the one referred to below.
http://www.europamericantile.com/brands.html Cotto Sannini Impruneta seems to be a major producer in Italy. It has a Web sites at www.sannini.com and www.sannini.it |
The company I wrote to you about, WalkerZanger, has a showroom in Dallas. The tile I used is from their Maison Franciase line; they are much more lovely in reality than in the catalogue photos.
