Yummy!!!! I just discovered this terrific and funny report. Big erect cocks in Trafalgar Square? That's my kind of trip report!!
I'll be in London (and Devon) in March, and Lodnon in June , and am "scarfing down" your stories in anticipation.
re: the first one--total nightmare re lodging. A bit late
for you MTT but in case anyone needs alternative property rental, I 'll chime in here with my 2 cents re flat rental in London:
fantastic The London Connection. I've used their services in three trips, and never been let down by this fantastic small family company. Check out Mr Moore's informative Anglophile blog on the website.
OK,.. back to reading more from MaiTai!

Anotherday...more photos...
Cirencester, Bibury, Burford, Bourton-On-The Water, Lower Slaughter, Stow-on-the-Wold and a touch of Chipping Campden (that was a long day).
Only two more installments to go and then you're through with me...for a few months anyway.

Oh, this last group of photos is what I've been waiting for, though I've enjoyed them all. Very nice! And now I'm thoroughly excited about my upcoming trip. My only regret is my room at Bramley House will be in the front and not the back, but the other rooms had already been booked. It looks like a great place -- and in walking distance to good restaurants.
Looking forward to your next installment.

Thanks. Between the four of us, we got some pretty good photos. Kim and Mary send us their best to put on the blog, too. Working on the last couple of days. Thanks for sticking around.

Amazing…but true. The complete trip report (with photos) is finally done. I can now return to my somewhat normal life Chapters Fifteen and Sixteen contain photos (some of the best of our trip, I will say modestly) from Berkeley Castle, the Stanton area, Stanway, Winchcombe, Sudeley Castle, Berkeley, Snowshill, Snowshill Manor, the Bramley House cocktail hour and finally, dinner plus the incredible Sticky Toffee Pudding at the Eight Bells in Chipping Campden (plus some miscellaneous England shots at the end).
Someday I will put together a slideshow of just the photos, but if you wade through all my verbiage, there's a lot of good photos on our 16-day journey. Till we meet again…ah, you know.

I loved this final group of photos, Tom. Snowshill looks especially wonderful, as does Bramley House (glad I switched from the 5 star place to something homier and more affordable). Thanks for sharing your trip, as it certainly has helped in planning for mine!

a great end to your trip and to your report, Tom. Love the reflections at the end -i know what you mean about needing time to warm to places.
looking forward to sharing your next trip with you - Paris, isn't it?
