Just got back from Istanbul. Marvelous ! I just want to warn anybody going to be aware, that Istanbul Airport is the LARGEST in the world ! It is daunting to someone already with frazzled nerves of flying in the Land of CV. We were with a tour group. First time ever. Always independent travel before. So glad for the help of our tour company who had someone waiting for us at baggage claims. Object of story …do all the preparation u can for help,on arrival. You will not be sorry.

I find it worth the cost to hire a cart with driver, especially at departure if the gate is not near.
