Istanbul - Transfer to New Airport
 

Hello.
We are 8 people travelling together and will be staying in the Galata area.
We fly out of the New Istanbul Airport when we fly to Cappadocia (in June).
I am looking for recommendations of tried and trusted airport transfers.

Alternative 1 : Check schedules of Havatas buses, 18-20 TL/person. Nearest bus stop to Galata may be Taksim.

Alternative 2. Take a private shuttle. Usually Mercedes Vito vans with enough seating for eight. $50 to $60 or may be even as low as TL250. Check the web.

Get assistance from hotel reception for both of the above.

Alternative 3. Take two regulat taxis. Cost is 120-150 per vehicle depending on the traffic.


Leave hotel three hours before flight. Lots of walking in the airport.

Our hotel quoted us but the price seemed really high. Do you perhaps have any transfer companies you have used and could recommend ?

How much did your hotel quote?

We have only used regular taxis and paid 120-130 TL from Taksim area.

When you are in istanbul, you can try to get quotes from drivers of the black Mercedes Vito vans wich you see discharging tourists. The figures I gave
earlier were from two of thos in front of the Marmara Hotel in Taksim.
