Istanbul Hotels/B&Bs
Hello!
I"m looking for a clean hotel /B&B in Istanbul for 3 nights in the Sultanahmet area only.
I want one with a terrace that serves breakfast with a view of mosque (s) or sea
I want a room with sea /mosque view - perhaps even with balcony. I don't mind the earlymorning call to prayer.
Does anyone recall a hotel/B&B that meets this specifications for $100 or less per night?!
Thank you

Hi
We stayed at the Hanedan Hotel. Good basic hotel that meets your criteria. Try also the Hotel Alp Guesthouse - http://www.alpguesthouse.com - but I'm not sure about whether it has a mosque view.

Check out http://www.hotelpeninsula.com/peninsula/ --where I believe the best view is from the breakfast terrace, but our room had a charming view of a minaret from the mosque next door. They now have a new hotel down the street with better views from the rooms and still great rates.

I really liked the Empress Zoe Hotel, but it might be a little over your budget. You can check the other Sultanahmet Hotels listed on this website: http://www.theguideistanbul.com/spots/filter/26

We stayed http://www.halihotel.com/en/index.php and were happy with the choice.

My friend and I stayed at the Lausos Hotel (www.hotellausos.com) and I selected the Bosphorus suite, with breathtaking views of the Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, and Bosphorus Strait. Moreover, the staff are remarkably friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
