Elaine that sounds great. Although I was with a loose group of people (who stayed at different hotels) for most of the time, I spent most of the days, and a few nights at the end of the trip, alone. No problems, not even one. And those famous rug salesmen were not nearly as pesty as I thought they would be..


Oh, one thing I remember is to use caution around the ATM machines in the old city--there were a few shady types hanging around the machines in the popular tourist areas..
