I stayed at Sultanahmetsuites for 5 days and I had a very positive experience
Service was warm, welcoming, professional, the location is very good
Enjoyed my stay here very much. The hotel had a friendly family atmosphere and the manager, Mr joy, was a gentleman.

We would certainly stay again.
Also other guest reviews:

and this letter explains everything about you
Joy) and ... the owner/managers of the Sultanahmetsuites Apart Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey to contact you on their behalf. In August of this year, a Japanese woman was a guest at the hotel, staying with a companion. Without going into the details, there was a dispute between the owners and the guest that was unusually heated. Even though the owners feel they acted properly in the issues leading up to the dispute, they do not object to the negative review that followed. They are unhappy, however, that this woman is continuing to post reviews under different names. They can tell this by the specific (and unique) comments in each of the reviews and because their hotel is so small (only four rooms) and they know all their clients. Is there any way that TripAdvisor can screen the origination of these one-time postings by new members to avoid this unfair activity? The owners don?t know if the posts came from the same computer, only that they are from the same person. The TripAdvisor member names given in the reviews were: Kindsuggestiontoyou, ITDUDE, denizlove,camel94
The hotel managers were very upset that a single person can do such damage to their hotel's reputation using Tripadvisor site.
After that the Japanese lady referred to below has started a new tactic. She is going to the real reviews and rating them as unhelpful; I assume to reduce their weight in TA rating system. How else do well written, helpful reviews get a 3/22 helpful rating.
Her latest approach to responding to good reviews is also interesting. Someone from Colorado called "970smile" wrote a positive review. She immediately responded saying she was Smileahonen" from El Dorado and rated the hotel all 1s. The "smile" seemed to key off the previous review, so I Googled "honen." The first listing was Wikipedia which explained the word as follows:
"From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
H¨*nen (also H¨*nen Bo Genku, or just Genku) (·¨È»; 1133-1212) is the founder of the first independent branch of Japanese Pure Land Buddhism known as Jodo Shu. Jodo is Japanese for 'The Pure Land' and shu is Japanese for 'sect'. In the related Jodo Shinshu sect, he is considered the Seventh Patriarch."
TA respond to these messages!
After that They stoped this lady...
Thank you Tripadvisor

Check out Hotel Ambassador. wanted to book there but could not find a vacancy for my dates, but did stop by during my Istanbul visit and it sort of feels B&B-ish.

YOU are THE OWNER of Sultanahmet Suites. As always, you guys are very good telling lies.

You are also good at threatening your guests, making false statements, and exposing guests’ privacy on the internet in a defamatory manner. You expose guests' privacy as revenge against guests who post critical reviews of you and your apart.

Unfortunately you always fail to correct or hide typical grammatical errors in your unique and strange English! Anyway, welcome back gelincik = the OWNER of Sultanahmet Suites.

In any case, all the problems of Sultanahmet Suites began when you yelled and threatened your guest at your apart. When she returned home and wrote about it on a travel forum, your husband called her home after midnight and threatened her as follows:

“I tell you something. I will go to your embassy. I have all the copies of your e-mails and everything. You only have 48 hours to clean up what you have written about me to tripadvisor. So you either do that, or I will be a trouble for you.” (tape-recorded)

Your husband threatened his former guest to delete her travel review. You and your husband also sent threatening e-mail to her. You called even her friend in his office and threatened him, too.

Are these right conducts? Can you threaten a guest and her friend because she is telling the truth that you want to hide? No, you cannot.

If you abuse your guests, it will come back to you, and you are the ones to blame. Before blaming a guest posting a critical review, why don’t you apologize for your threats and other series of horrifying misconducts?

Instead of learning a lesson, you continued to threaten guests. There are some nasty hotel managers in this world, but nobody is as nasty and hopeless as you guys.

Every time you do this, you inform the entire world that the owners of Sultanahmet Suites are abusive, threaten guests and retaliate by calling home and threaten.

No apology. No remorse. No sincerity. No sane mind. Only anger and harassment.

You are destroying your own business. I feel that this is the beginning of the end of your aparthotel.

My husband and I were in Istanbul for 5 nights last year. We stayed at the Dersaadet Hotel.www.hoteldersaadet.com
We were picked up at the airport-the room was very roomy. There was a roof top area where we had breakfast every morning. In fact we had an early flight on our last day and I asked them if we could just have some coffee-they brought the whole breakfast to the loby. I thought this was over and above. It was in a perfect location to walk anywhere-the rooftop had a wonderful view of the Blue Mosque. I don't know what the prices are this year or next but last year they were very reasonable.Chris
