The RAI Uno quiz show "L'Eredita" >>
we loved watching this when we were in Rome in February. Sooo educational for me, and DH much admired the scantily-clad lovelies who bedeck the set, with minimal relevance to the programme, but maximum "exposure"!

Over time we get quite attached to them, and it comes as a wrench when they change every 2 or 3 years! While the orange-tanned presenter is a familiar figure from British TV, the sight of him and the girls doing commercials during the course of the programme took a while to get used to.
Great for learning odd aspects of Italian life though - and for appreciating the interest in Britain and what goes on there!

Peter - i love the idea of you getting attached to the lovelies on L'Eredita. i could see the same happening to my DH. They just irritated me!
and those adverts! bizzare to have adverts featuring the presenter of the programme you're watching, at least to our British eyes.
