Is two days enough in Dubrovnik?

I plan on taking a trip to Dubrovnik. Now I will explore the outer areas like the islands , beaches and nice areas around Dubrovnik upon another portion of my trip before I go into the town because I will be staying in the area for a while. My question though is if two days enough to just see the town of Dubrovnik itself? Like the main important sights and attractions inside Dubrovnik? Would two days be enough for the town itself?

hi there, yes i think two full days would be plenty. The old town is fairly small so 1/45-2 days is perfect imo

Perfect. Thanks!

Yes, if you travel to do things, absolutely. If you travel to hang out, you could probably spend the rest of your life in cafes there drinking coffee or wine.

One should be enough. Check this site - http://www.portdubrovnik.hr/girica1.php - to avoid the worst crush of cruise ship passengers.

Two days worked well for my interests. Enjoy!

Yes 2 days is enough. We stayed there for 4 days and had run our of things to do (apart from walking around which is always interesting) by the beginning of Day 3. The old town is much smaller than I'd imagined. Don't miss walking round the walls, the Buza Bar and the cable car up the mountain overlooking the city. Be prepared for high prices at shops and restaurants.
