Is this worth a trip
I want to know if anyone has been to Cinque Terre in Florence. What is it like is it worth a trip?

Sweetie, get yourself a GOOD map and a pair of eyeglasses, then come back and talk to us.
And put down that bottle of gin. Thingorjus |
Sure it must be a joke with this nickname!

BIG wink right back atcha!
|
Please, please tell me this is not a serious question...
|
Sub "Italy" for "Florence" and you may have the question.
|
Come on guys. This is LittleWink's first post to the Europe forum, let's try to give a nicer welcome!
|
Cinque Terre is an area northwest of Florence on the coast of Italy. Some towns is includes are: Monterosso, Vernazza, and Riomaggiore.
I've never been, but I've heard a lot of good things about it. |
suze: The OP has 10 posts in 4 years- most have useless, 1-word titles and 1 or 2-sentence questions. This one is just as as useless but at least she used 5 words this time.
Nothing to do w/ being on the "Europe" forum - just seems lazy to me. |
I find this question reasonable (as LittleWink's other posts in this forum).
I personally would NOT include Cinque Terre in my list of top ten places in Italy. It is a beautiful stretch of coastline with five picturesque villages. Its main attraction is the hiking trail "via dell'amore". Otherwise, there is not much to see and to do. Certainly no comparison to cities/areas like Rome, Venice, Tuscany or Piemonte. |
Littlewink, I try not to go to Cinque Terre when I am in Florence.
|
Oh, I see. And never comes back onto the threads either. Interesting.
|
May this be an early April Food joke, ya think? some people tend to confuse the dates.
