Is this apartment in a good location in the 6th?
www.vrbo.com/38764
It looks very nice . . . not too small for a studio, and if I did the math correctly, it would be around 114 euros per night (1 week plus 3 nights). I have noticed that a lot of apartments are already booked for next April . . . I didn't realize they went so quickly! Any comments would be appreciated! |
This is a very nice area in the 6th. If you go to pagesjaune.fr, you can type in the address and get a 360 view of the street.

I love that location- really close to all the shops and restaurants, but on a quiet street, and also right by the Luxembourg Gardens.
That's a super-tiny kitchen, so it wouldn't be good if you were really planning to cook, but you'd have Gerard Mulot practically right next door for fabulous carry-out foods and pastries, so you wouldn't need to! |
I don't know the apartment, but I know the area. You will love staying there. If you can't find anything negative about the apartment, either here, other boards, or SlowTravel, go for it. It looks very nice, but as a lot of us know, online photos can be very deceiving. The price is certainly right, especially for that area. As you have discovered, apartments fill up far in advance any time of the year. You can hum 'April in Paris' for the next 8 months, and smile at the same time.
I'd rent it just to see that bathroom. Nina |
looks nice! just imagine everything in the pix will be a bit smaller in real life.
we stayed 2 blocks over on rue madame last year. check out the part of montparnasse which is close by. we walked to a movie there and liked it. if it fits your needs, i'd say take it. |
I sent an inquiry via email. I checked out slowtrav and low and behold, there was a VERY glowing review of the property. We might just take it if it's available:)
