Madrid to Toledo
Hi all, I checked the renfe.es website for train schedule from Madrid to Toledo during the week of Dec 13 but for some reason there seems to be no train running that route after Dec 11. Anybody know how I can get to Toledo with any other public transportation? thanks, Theresa

Back in APril, we took the bus. We caught an express there which took about 45 minutes. On the way back the bus made 1 stop. It's the Continental Bus which leaves from the Estacion de Autobuses at the Mendez Alvaro Metro stop. The busses ran fairly frequently. It was a very easy trip. Toledo is well worth the visit.

Well on Dec 12 european schedules change en masse and maybe they havn't loaded new schedules. Hard to believe that the usual hourly trains won't be running or at least a bus substitute. Of course buses independent of the RENFE system also do it.

We took the train, but ended up waiting all day for it. I believe it only runs from one station (forgot which one) and I still don't know what the problem was. I've read (check out old Maribel posts I believe) that there're doing some work or something on this line, but am really not sure.
I'd recommend the bus.
I'd recommend the bus.
