Debra, <BR> just a couple of thoughts. <BR> <BR>It really depends on what countries you are going to. When I was in England a few years ago, we had to spend a minimum amount to qualify for the VAT refund. It ended up barely worth the effort. <BR>I just got back a month or so ago, from Ireland. Now their rules are completely different. They have NO min. purchase requirement. We asked for the VAT vouchers whenever we spent more than $15. Then the night before we were to fly home, we took about 15 - 30 min to fill out all the rest of the info, and when we got to the airport, we went to the counters. No hassle , very little time. <BR> I saved between $40 - $60 easily. <BR> <BR>oh, some merchants ( Waterford Crystal comes to mind) will put the refund right back on your credit card, as long as you turn in the forms at the airport. <BR> <BR>Be sure to get all your facts straight before you leave so that you understand how it all works. <BR> <BR>debbie
