is there accommodation available over summer at the Sorbonne?

I'm in Paris during June and am wondering if anyone knows if the Sorbonne offers accommodation during vacation time? I know universities in other cities do. Can't find any leads on the internet to indicate that it does, but maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

According to http://www.centerforstudyabroad.com/...-the-sorbonne/

"There are no residence halls at the Sorbonne. All students have to arrange their own housing. We provide an extensive list of Paris student housing links when you successfully apply for a course. Many students stay in residence halls nearby (Foyers), in student flats, and hostels.
We can also arrange for you to stay in host family housing. Accommodation in Paris is generally expensive."

The Sorbonne Student Life website (http://www.english.paris-sorbonne.fr/student-life/) seems to confirm that (look in the upper right corner, "Accommodation").

The various residences at the Cité Universitaire have rooms that can be rented.

I wouldn't say the Sorbonne has no residence halls, that is what Cite Universitaire is for. I've attended the Sorbonne in summer and that is where I lived. They do rent rooms out to anyone in summer, I think, but not really sure how likely that is if you are just a tourist and not a student somewhere. Because they do rent out lots of their rooms to all the students coming to Paris for the summer classes at the Sorbonne (French language for foreigners). You can apply, however, the odds are greater if you apply to the "house" which is your nationality. Also, I presume you want this for a month or so, I wouldn't try to get a room for a couple days.

this is their website http://www.ciup.fr/en/ , they have info on the qualifications needs. I think it says you must be a student, researcher or artist or something like that. They really don't have tons of empty rooms just sitting there due to all the students taking summer classes.

My daughter stayed at Cite Universitaire for a month in August while attending the Alliance Française. I suggest that you hurry up because the place fills up.
