Is there a place on line to find city to city driving distances and times?

Joe, I'll tell you mine if you'll tell me yours. Go to www.euroshell.com/index.asp, you might have to use the Italian names, LaSpezia e.g. Now, tell me, can you restore a 1966 Austin-Healey 3000?

try:
www.mapquest.com
you can type in exact street names, etc and it will give you great driving directions, breaking it down into km and time.
