Search on this topic. It has been written about. My conclusion was for lunch it's worth it, for dinner maybe. We made lunch reservations. make them early

We had lunch at Jules Verne several weeks ago. I made reservations about five weeks in advance and had a window seat. Lunch for two people (an appetizer, an entree, and a desert each) without wine was $200. I think it is definately worth doing once.

Was your meal a la carte or the prix fixe menu? We ate there last year for lunch, prix fixe menu with a bottle of wine and it was $140USD. This is quite a difference. But still worth it in my opinion. We loved it.

The big advantage is their private elevator, which saves you waiting in line.

Gretchen, the exchange rate has changed so much since last year that the same meal you had would be much more expensive now.

Still worth the money at least for lunch. I have tried many times to get dinner reservations, but even months in advance have been unable to.

Seven years ago we had a great dinner here. Last year we did not make advance reservations feeling we had been there, done that. Then we were so sorry and couldn't get reservations. So, if you have a chance and can book a table by the window, definitely do it. It is pricey, but worth it. And it's fun!!! There are so many other good restaurants, memorable in many ways, but dining in the Eiffel Tower??? It's special and the food doesn't disappoint.

Burta, thanks for answering. But did you do the prix fixe or a la carte. The exchange rate has not changed that greatly--Iknow 10-15% more but our meal was with a bottle of wine also.
I am also interested because someone on an AOL board posted that the prix fixe had increased on week-ends and I haven't been able to get a straight answer. We absolutely loved it.
