If you're a cave lover, it might be worth the trip, but if you haven't already seen Alhambra--that's a must! (Get tickets in advance on the Internet)

Julie - can you please post the URL where you can buy advance tickets to the Alhambra on the Internet? Thanks!

Alia,
The scenery underway in the mountains is really beautiful. You can do it the slow way, through the small villages (El Burgo - Yunquera - Alozaina - Coín - Cártama) on very small roads, then take the freeway in Cártama. Or the faster way Ronda - San Pedro (Marbella) - equally beautiful scenery - and take the freeway in San Pedro.
When you're in Nerja, do visit the white village of Frigiliana. It's only 9 km uphill and one of the most beautiful pueblos blancos in Andalucía.
