Is it SAFE in ...

We get regularly (but lkess than on other forums, this one attracts less paranoids) questions about safety here or there.

I thought interesting to post the Huftingtton link about deaths in the US.

( And from now on, I sleep on the ground, and don't mown the grass anymore. )

Keep the link handy. While it entertains us (well, sort of), it's unlikely to be seen by those you're (ostensibly) targeting.

Yup.
I also need a link for Europeans.

We had a discussion recently with friends and one of them was asking me how I could keep going to Turkey and to ... Paris every week.

She recommended I quit my job. I asked 'to stay in Bruxelles ?'

So no - I don't make a fixation on the weapons (quoique) - I have 3 weapons at home (one is broken). The number that startled me is :

737 US guys die every year falling out of BED !!!!!

(armed toddlers stupefied me too, btw).

I wonder how many of the "Shot by other Americans" category are covered by the bumper sticker I saw the other day that said, "Guns don't kill people, Dads with pretty daughters kill people!"?

Armed toddlers/they find these loaded guns left out by Mommy and Daddy and shoot people with them. We had a case of a mom that got shot while driving recently. Her gun rolled to the back seat and Jr. unbuckled himself, picked the gun up and shot her through the back.
