Is it just me, or is this site acting up a bit?
 

Since yesterday, when I try to post or reply to a posting, the page automatically opens up a new browser window and everything looks smooshed to one side.

I am wondering if it is just my connections or what... :(

I don't have problems with replies, but have to click on each post twice.

First time it opens a very narrow text and a large blank square of a would-be advertisement on the right.

Second time I see everything normal.

I have been having trouble all day--when i try to respond, i get a blank screen, have to close and reopen. hopefully, this will be smoother tomorrow! :)

No problems here -- try using Firefox ;)

On several replies I've had to go back & 're-reply', as it is moving the page over somehow.

well, I AM using firefox, and have had all kinds of trouble today.

I had that same problem yesterday and thought I had been banned/put in time-out from posting w/out my knowledge. Thankfully I don't have problems today!

I just sent an email to Fodor's about this same problem. I suggest all of you do the same so it will get to someone's attention.

Sfowler, some of us are using work computers and not allowed to install any additional programs.

In your e-mail to them repeat this: "Frommer's has the BEST travel board site" 50 times..that will get their attention...it may not fix the problem but they'll see the e-mail, may ban you from posting, and who knwos what else.-

I had problems yesterday on both explorer and firefox. today it is fine on explorer.

I have had problems for two days. Thought it was just me........

Hi all, I just got an email from Fodor's. They are now aware of the glitches and will work on it.

Yes -it's been a disaster all day. Have switched browsers a couple of times - but doesn;t help.

I don;t know if they're having server (or server capacity) problems - or if they just need the site designed properly.
