Is it cheaper to rent car in Paris or Nice?

We're planning to rent a car in either Paris(CDG) and drive to Nice or visa versa (1 way drop off). Are car rental prices the same whichever direction we decide or is it better to begin in one location over the other? Any suggestions as to who to rent from? Thanks!

Make arrangements for a rental car BEFORE you leave, either through a travel agent or car rental agency. This will save you lots of money. We learned the hard way.

I second the idea to rent a car in US and pickup
in Paris that is what we did. I checked with a few
car rental places and I found auto europe to be the
cheapest and ask if they have any deals. Also rent
an economy car because 9 times out of 10 you can get
an upgrade.

Good Luck

I am looking for lodging at tri-valleys, meribil,
or val thorns, France. We are planing a ski trip
in either Jan or Feb. We are looking for an apartment complex that is reasonable.

Thanks
