we decided not to make it into a family trip. We already have a family trip in early July to visit relatives on the East Coast around DC. My husband will just have to be a single parent for a week. The conference schedule is so packed that it will be impossible to do anything with them during the week, so it leaves only the weekend for excursions. I have done a solo trip to Paris, Brussels, and Italy since becoming a mom, although my mother (the grandma) helped during previous trips. Oh well, we'll see how it turns out.
