Is Easter Monday a holiday in Europe?
I've been waiting since Thursday or Friday for e-mail responses from a couple places (airline & hotel) in Germany & Lithuania and haven't heard a thing. Now I'm wondering is most places are short-staffed due to a long holiday week-end.

YES. We're currently in Zurich, having just returned here from a week in Italy. Yes, things are closed on Easter Monday. You will even find few restaurants and gas stations open, unless you are along a major autoroute.
