Is anyone familiar with the Cotswold House?

This hotel was suggested to me; but recent reviews on Trip advisor look pretty negative. Another friend suggested the Malt House b&B in Chipping Camden; but they stayed ther over 10 years ago. I'm searching for something charming possibly set in a garden.

Found the hotel on Booking too.
In general the score is ok.
However some reviews (IMHO) are pick nicking
One reviewer had given a score of 5 but no negative comments.
Another said they wee surprised to have to share the spa with non-residence. Obviously they have never been to a spa hotel before.

and would their opinion be any clearer.? I feel reading through the lines it is not too bad, but if I was staying in the area I would look around at other locations to get a real feel for the competition. I have not done that but booking is a good website to do some more research. Things like price and location are important. Unless the service is like Fawlty Towers ;-)

>>recent reviews on Trip advisor look pretty negative<<

You must be a pretty tough customer

TA lists 219 Excellent & Very Good reviews, but only 30 poor/terrible ones. That is a very good % IMO.

(and 128 Excellent vs. 7 terrible is an even more positive ratio)
