Is an hour and 40 minutes enough time between Frankfurt airport and train?

I'm flying into Frankfurt from Heathrow in July where I will then catch the train to Offenburg. I'm hoping to get the train tickets early to take advantage of the discounts. Does that seem like enough time?

Is the train to Offenburg leaving from the airport or do you have to go to the Frankfurt main station for the Offenburg train?

Generally an hour and 40 minutes should be enough time if you leave from the airport, unless your plane is late.

If the plane lands on time, it is more than enough time.

We were in Frankfurt twice this month. Both times we took the train from the airport within 40 minutes of touchdown though we had no luggage. We were at the main Frankfurt train station within an hour.

That's great! Thanks for the quick response and all the info. The train tickets I'm looking at leave from the airport so it's worth the gamble.
