Why don't you just order direct from eurostar.com? I get the price for 4 adults on that day to be $376.

rkkwan--Sorry- should have qualified-we are 2 adults, 1 senior and 1 child. Also, I can't quite figure out the eurostar. com site yet. Did you use 1 way or round trip and what time of day did you use? Would like to leave latter morning, arrive Paris about 3?
Thanks. Judy

2 adults, 1 child and 1 senior. 5/28 one-way is US$333. Basically all trains are available like the 11:05-14:20, or 12:30-15:50.

Make sure eurostar.com directs you to the USA site. If you find that prices come out in Euro or Pounds, or if they don't let you book far advance, then you need to do the following:

- Go to the preferences of your web browser, and delete the two cookies left by eurostar.com and eurostar.122.2o7.net.

- Start a new page and go to www.eurostar.com again, and pick USA as your country.

You can then find all the trains and fares for next May in US$.

Also check the return (round trip) price as it sometimes comes out cheaper than one way. You don't have to use the return part.

They may show you the price for May 2008 , but I don't think you can actually order tickets more than 180 days out. R/T is often less expensive than 1 way so do check that out too.

You can book this far ahead, and one-way is cheaper than roundtrip IF YOU PICK USA AS YOUR COUNTRY.

That's the key.

According to Mark Smith (www.seat61.com) the best European country to use for Eurostar is Austria

alanRow - Wow, good tip. The Austria page won't give May 08 fares, but when I tried something in November, it does seem to give a pretty low fare. Like 152EUR for 2 adults, 1 child and 1 senior for London-Paris.

Which is significantly lower than the $333 price if one sets to USA.
