Not really mad about Irish pubs anywhere outside Ireland. As mentioned in a recent trip report we went to the Green Linnet www.thegreenlinnet.com - just to see the rugby, and it was fine. They have a pool table as well if you fancy a bit of time out from sightseeing. They also feature some live music - sort of celtic trad by French musicians - quite honestly, it was atrocious, and pushed us out of the place. The Staff were friendly though and those who had Guinness said it was fine.

I've heard Carr's in the 1st is okay - especially if there are soccer, rugby or big gaelic games on.
