Irish newspapers Availabkle in NYC

We are going over on May 26--staying in Dublin May 27-30. Which Irish newspaper would be best to pick up for theater, concerts, cultural news? Thanks!

The Irish Times would be best. Try to get a Saturday edition, as it has a great magazine section and weekend section with info on what's going on around the country.

I should have also mentioned that the Irish Times have a supplement called "The Ticket" - I think it's on Thursdays, and it has details of all concerts, plays, etc for the upcoming week.

Check out this website www.wow.ie it should list all events and theatre etc.

Also try www.ticketmaster.ie as well as popo into the tourist office on Suffolk street. It's in an old church and I believe there is a ticket master there inside.

You can get a listing of Irish theatre productions and other entertainment on www.rte.ie which also allows you to listen to various Irish radio stations including one classical one. On www.unison.ie you can get access to the Irish Independent free. This has lots of Irish news.
