irish b & b directory
Can someone tell me how to order the B& B guide (just mentioned on another thread) from the Irish Tourist Board? or from whom? Google isn't helping me with this!

Actually, we have a practically new copy for 2004 that we'd like to pass on to someone who can use it. We just returned from Ireland last week. E-mail me privately if you'd like to arrange for me to mail it to you (all we ask is postage reimbursement).

If that offer doesn't work out:
Irish Tourist Board 345 Park Ave., New York, NY 10154 (tel. 800/223-6470 from the U.S., or 212/418-0800; fax 212/371-9052) |
You can find much of that information online at their website.
http://www.townandcountry.ie/ The book is nice to have because you can browse faster, but the website is a good start. Bill |
Thanks for these replies. I've sent a mail to corbow asking for the used one. Yes, I do know that most of the info is available on the internet, but sometimes I get weary of reading on screen. I like to compare and look back and forth at things, & get seasick when they move around and change. (Can't read or navigate in a moving car either.)
Thanks again! |
dear corbow, I was just notified that I'm a "suspect" in your mailbox.

I got mine from the tourist board before we left. It came in a package with a lot of other information and it was free. When we got to Ireland, we noticed the books were being sold in the Tourist Offices for 5 Euro.

peregryn, I've added you to the address book so you won't come up as a "suspect." I always check the "suspect" e-mail box to make sure I don't toss out a legitimate e-mail with the spam. Directory is on its way.
