Ireland Weather in late June

My family and I were in Portland, OR this weekend and froze, it was about 40 degrees F.

Can anyone advise me as to the temperatures in June in all of Ireland and what type of clothes and more importantly what type of coat we should take.

Keep in mind, we are Southern California wimps, and 60 degrees is enough for polar fleece and turtlenecks.

Thanks for the advice.

Okay then Californian wimps! :)

Ireland in June will probably be a little cooler then you are used to. In Celcius it usually averages around the 19 - 21 degree mark.

I live here in Dublin and find that in the Summer I usually don't wear a coat but take a reasonably heavy fleece to put on if needs be. Also as to a coat, take a light rain coat and leave the heavy coats behind. While it only gets to about 19-21 degrees C, it is humid here in the summer and so during the day walking around a heavy coat would be uncomfortable.

The weather is usually sunny with the occasional shower in the summer. But Hey! you don't come to Ireland for the sun tan right!!!

Have a good one,

Paul
