Thanks Budman. Sounded like goldfield also would recommend Dingle.

My famiily actually resides in Ballinskelligs on the midpoint of the Ring of Kerry, and if it were not for them I would not even consider driving the Ring. As they say this time of year - Dingle all the way ...

Thanks for the concise report. Could you also please give us your views of the things you saw and what you thought of them, impressions, likes/dislikes, whether they took your breath away or were disappointing. I think that would be helpful to new travellers - and even old travellers like me would be interested in how you felt about what you saw. (Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Doolin, Cobh, etc.)
