Ireland tour

We're considering a CIE tour in Ireland. Has anyone ever been on this coach tour of Ireland and didn't like it? I've heard good things but is there anything we may not like about traveling with this tour group?

If you prefer a tour - CIE is an excellent company.

Are you sure a coach tour is what you want to do?

We travel a lot in Europe by car, train and cruise, but have never been to Ireland. We just want to sit back this time and have someone cart our bags around and us. We are just getting a taste this time of Ireland with hopes of exploring it again in the future in more depth on our own.

As long as you understand the pros and cons of touring - you will probably really like CIE. Good itineraries and decent value for money

98% of what I hear about CIE Tours is good. I read an article where someone got a horrible driver/guide. They can make or break the trip. I know of someone else who must have had that same guide. They made such a stink about the bad tour that they got a lot of their money back. It is a reputable company. Chances are you will have a good tour.
