"Ireland of the Welcomes"

I have enjoyed this magazine for many years.Published 6 times per year by the Irish Tourist Board it has several attractive features about Ireland in every issue. They have now got a website which is at
www.irelandofthewelcomes.com where they give a few extracts from the current issue. There are some really beautiful pictures of Ireland in the current issue too and an invitation to get a free copy.

I LOVE Ireland and began my subscription two years ago. You're not going to like hearing this, but I didn't find the information worth the price of the subscription, so I've decided to let it lapse (too many advertisements, too few stories). Having said that, the one that arrived the other day had a wonderful story about the American women who took her two sons to England for a year in 1980, one threw a bottle overboard on the passage and it washed up in Ireland. They met the man who found it... Made me think twice about giving up the subscription, but I did it anyway!

I subscribe too and look forward to each issue! I got the issue today with the story about the woman and her two boys that threw the bottle off the ship and it landed on Ireland's shores in Co. Kerry. I LOVED that story!! My favorite so far. Its one way I can keep informed of my favorite place!
Patti
I subscribe to this magazine too and noticed in the July-Aug edition that they have a special offer for those who would like to get back issues-3 for the price of 2.Have a look at their website and get a free copy of the current edition if you would like to sample it.I find that many of the articles are worth reading long after they are published.
