I think it is a list of places. On its own, it is close to meaningless.

The distances between the places are manageable.

You're right it does look meaningless. Actually we will be flying into Shannon and taking the bus to Galway for 2 nights. The art festival will be on and we will be connecting with friends. Then we will take the bus to Rossaveel and the ferry to Inishmore for 1 night. The next day we plan to pick up a car in Galway driving part of the Connemara Loop, including a stop at Kylemore Abbey, arriving at Westport for 2 nights. Our time is open in Westport as we hope to unite with the granddaughter of my grandmother's sister!!! From there we head south, completing the Connemara loop, including Cong, to Doolin for an evening of pub music and people. Now onto Dingle to explore the peninsula and night life for 2 nights (probably should have done 3)! Next day, hopefully the weather will cooperate to do Skellig Michael with a night in Kenmare, perhaps too busy but looks so colorful so why not??? Now off to Kinsale for 2 nights while visiting friends in Cork.
Now we are on the home stretch...Kilkenny 1 night then onto Dublin where we will stay at Trinity College Dorm, do historical walking tour, Grafton St and end the evening with Traditional Irish Musical Pub Crawl.

Suggestions appreciated!

You have identified the big challenge: Dingle to Kenmare via RoK with a trip to Skellig Michael. If you can summon up the stamina for that one day, the trip looks good.

How did you arrange to stay in Trinity College dorm?
My daughter is visiting Dublin for the Weekend of May 23-26.
She is presently studying in London. It would be a perfect accomadation for her.
Thanks
