Ireland itinerary advice

My wife and I are planning an Ireland vacation for July. Our flights are booked , arriving in Dublin early morning on July 8 and departing July 18.
Here is our preliminary itinerary:
3 nights in Dublin
either rent a car or public transportation to Belfast
2 nights in Belfast. Visit giants causeway from Belfast
drive or public transportation to Galway
1 night in Galway
ferry to Aran Islands
1 night Inis Mor
drive to Cork
1 night Cork
1 night Killarney
Drive back to Dublin
1 night in Dublin near airport
early morning flight home

I would appreciate any comments on the itinerary. I know that Belfast seems to complicate things but my wife wants to experience the City and visit the giants causeway. Perhaps we may need to drop Cork and Killarney and do something further north?
We do not have the mode of transportation between destinations decided yet and any advice on that would be welcome.

Land Dublin and get on the bus straight up to Belfast, see the city day 1 and take one of the tours day 2,
Morning 3 drop to Dublin airport and get the express bus to Galway, afternoon sail to Inis Mor.

So far no need for a hire car. Why Cork and Killarney. genuine question as with only 1 night each its a long way just going for the sake of ticking a couple of boxes. You could easily use those days in Galway/Clare. If you rent a car in Galway you could tour the Connemara perhaps have a night in Clifden or Roundstone maybe push up to Westport. With a car you could also explore the whole of Clare the well trodden west and maybe venture over here into the east for the Lough Derg lake lands.

If you do want Cork (or) Killarney chose one and have the two nights in that location.

Glad you are going to Belfast. RT bus from airport is very easy, You can get a rt ticket for the airport into Dublin also.

http://www.niblacktaxitours.com/ You can do a black cab tour. Get a hotel close to train station.

This is nice, there are other places but make sure you stay closer to Joe Watty's pub because you will want to walk there at night. Some other places are nice but a bit of a walk.

Thank you so much for the advice. Going to Belfast straight from the airport is a great idea. We are not particularly set on Cork or Killarney. I'll do some research on the Connemara Roundstone and other areas suggested.

We were thinking of spending our Dublin time in the Sandy mount area. However we have an early morning departure flight.....need to be at the airport at about 5am. Will that be difficult from there at that time of night or should we look at a last night in a hotel closer to the airport or with easy access from Dublin?
