Ireland in June

I have noticed that not much has been posted about visiting Ireland in June. Is there a reason why June may not be a popular time of year to visit Ireland?

We normally go last week in May, first week in June (take advantage of Memorial Day weekend). It's a great time to visit. We had great weather (in the high 60's and low 70's, and it's not too crowded in the high tourist areas. ((b))

We were there the same time as Budman and had wonderful weather. In fact out of our 14 day trip it only rained 1 day and that happened to be the day that we were driving cross country to Dublin!

It's a very popular time for visitors all summer long. Maybe its the price of tickets then. Weather is good most of the time as well.

I've been there three times in Junethree times in April and once, in Feb. Airfare in April is around $500 per person, but in June it is around $900. A VW Van runs $6-800 in April cost over $1000 in June, but in Feb of '02, I found one for under $300.
Best time to go? Any time my wife and I can.
