Ireland Dublin Hotels

We are looking at O'Callaghan Davenport or The Schoolhouse hotel to stay in April. Both are comparable in price, looking for a quiet and clean hotel with character. We want to be close to the city sites.

Thank you for your help,
Chris

Have stayed at the Davenport, and would do so again. Fair sized rooms. Clean, and the room we had was certainly quiet even though there was a pub across the road. (but in Ireland there is always a pub across the road.) We also had their good buffet breakfast included in price.
A 10 minute stroll to Trinity, so Grafton Street, and St Stephen's Green are also convenient.

Both are lovely and the schoolhouse is unusual but if it is nice weather the bar and the outside gets packed after work. The Davenport is closer to town and nice as well.

They are both ok. It depends on your budget. You can probably do better.

The Davenport is closer to the city centre but the schoolhouse is a bit more unusual.

We're staying at The Brooks Hotel. A boutique hotel 2 blocks from Grafton. The reviews from Trip Advisor look positive.

We've decided to book a budget hotel in Dublin -- Jurys Christchurch -- and stay in special places with character outside of the capital...

Well, we decided on staying at the Davenport.

Thanks
Chris
