On your way to or from London from Cornwall you could take the train to Bath and use it as a base to tour the area. This tour company is highly recommended on this board

I just don't want to miss out on anything and I have so much time that I don't want to put to waste. I want to see as much as possible in 41 days, given my limitations.

You will miss out, there is no way to see everything in 41 days...I have been living in the uk for 7 years in London and still haven't seen half of what London offers. Use the 41 days to the best you can and accept that you will miss things this time round. You are 21 and have the time to cone back many times! Next time you can rent a car to SE the stuff you missed this time!

Well I've discovered that my older cousin will be joining me for a few days while I'm in the south/southwest portion of Ireland; he'll be renting a car which means we'll be much better equipped to go to all of the must-see places there.
And I've found a 10 day tour with Haggis Tours to see just about everything I wanted to see in Scotland. Now, any advice for England and Wales?

Public transport in England tends to be pretty good, for rail transport see http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/

Do any of you wonderful and very helpful folks know if it's possible to get to Dunsany Castle from Dublin using public transport? Also interested in visiting Kileen (sp?) Castle if I can get there using a bus system.

Dunsany Castle requires a walk of probably 2 miles (ish) from the nearest Bus Stop which would be outside the Dunsany Lodge Hotel Kileen Castle Hotel Golf Club would be another 1/2 mile along the same Rd. You could probably arrange a Taxi from the Lodge Hotel.. There is one bus a week (Thursday)serving Dunsany hamlet.

Now another question--any recommendations for 2-4 day tours of the castles in Wales?
