Ireland and/or Scotland Itinerary help please!

Hi all, We are going to be spending 8 days in Ireland in early May, then have an additional 6 or 7 days that are open...This is our first time there, and are looking for input re. the option of spending the rest of our time in Scotland, vs. the entire 2 weeks in Ireland. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

go to Scotland !
We found it more interesting ( especially
Edinburgh) and charming than Ireland

You already have a post on this same question.

Answer remains the same. Spend the two weeks in Ireland. Two weeks is really not enough time to do both Ireland & Scotland.

Ireland or add Scotland. I had the same thought as you.I researched Ireland and decided that in one week I could see half so we opted to spend the entire 14 days in Ireland. We drove from Dublin South to Waterford,Kinsale,Kenmare,Dingle,Kinvarra,Galway and then North into Northern Ireland,Derry,Antrium coast,Belfast,Trim(Newgrange) and back to Dublin spending our last three nights in Dublin.Excellent trip.
