Ireland Accomodations in May

We will be spending 16 nights in Ireland and are looking for suggestions or recommendations for hotels or B&B's. We will be in Dublin, Kilkenny, Cork, Kenmare, Killarney, Dingle, Doolin and Galway. We want a clean, non-smoking room with shower and a full Irish breakfast. We are looking to spend between 100-150 Euros a night. Any help will be appreciated.

A B & B called the Garnish House in Cork, just near the University, is within your price range, I think it was less the 70 Euro. The full Irish breakfast is unbelievable, you don't need lunch.

I just booked Rosquil House in Kilkenny; it was rated #2 out of 69 b&b's in that town. It was 90 euros.

I enjoyed Langtons in Kilkenny, The Lodge in Kenmare and Greenmount House in Dingle. There are two web-sites that have a very good list of accommodations. They are,

and

Have a great trip, Joan

Susan7, is Garnish House within walking distance to the city? Thanks.

Yes, Garnish House is within easy walking distance of the central shopping area.

If I went to Killarney, I would definitely stay at Friars Glen again and recommend it to others. It is a Country Home instead of a B&B so it is pricier than a B&B but worth it in my opinion. http://www.friarsglen.ie/ Based on what you are willing to spend it should fit your budget as long as prices hasn't gone up.

In Kilkenny, we stayed in a quaint B&B that we also loved. It was called Hillgrove B&B http://homepage.eircom.net/~hillgrove/

Please note, both were not near the center of the city so it did require some driving to get to the center. Also our enjoyable stays was attributed to the couples that ran them and their hospitality and niceness.

Kenmare-Hawthorne House...great location in town so easy walk to pubs/dining/shopping/exploring village.

Doolin-Cullinan's...heavenly breakfast and easy stroll to pubs.
